神說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必治死他。』 4 For God said, Honor your father and mother（\f56 15:4 Exodus 20:12; Deut. 5:16） and Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death. （\f57 15:4 Exodus 21:17; Lev. 20:9）
你們倒說：『無論何人對父母說：我所當奉給你的已經作了供獻， 5 But you say that if a man says to his father or mother, Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is a gift devoted to God,
他就可以不孝敬父母。』這就是你們藉著遺傳，廢了神的誡命。 6 he is not to honor his father （\f58 15:6 Some manuscripts|i father or his mother|d） with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.
當時，門徒進前來對他說：「法利賽人聽見這話，不服〔原文是跌倒〕，你知道嗎？」 12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, 「Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?」
任憑他們吧！他們是瞎眼領路的；若是瞎子領瞎子，兩個人都要掉在坑裏。」 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. （\f60 15:14 Some manuscripts|i guides of the blind|d） If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.」
有一個迦南婦人，從那地方出來，喊著說：「主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我！我女兒被鬼附得甚苦。」 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, 「Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession.」
耶穌卻一言不答。門徒進前來，求他說：「這婦人在我們後頭喊叫，請打發她走吧。」 23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, 「Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.」
耶穌說：「婦人，你的信心是大的！照你所要的，給你成全了吧。」從那時候，她女兒就好了。 28 Then Jesus answered, 「Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.」 And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
有許多人到他那裏，帶著瘸子、瞎子、啞巴、有殘疾的，和好些別的病人，都放在他腳前；他就治好了他們。 30 Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.
甚至眾人都希奇；因為看見啞巴說話，殘疾的痊愈，瘸子行走，瞎子看見，他們就歸榮耀給以色列的神。 31 The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.
耶穌叫門徒來，說：「我憐憫這眾人，因為他們同我在這裏已經三天，也沒有吃的了。我不願意叫他們餓著回去，恐怕在路上困乏。」 32 Jesus called his disciples to him and said, 「I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.」
拿著這七個餅和幾條魚，祝謝了，擘開，遞給門徒；門徒又遞給眾人。 36 Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people.
眾人都吃，並且吃飽了，收拾剩下的零碎，裝滿了七個筐子。 37 They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
October 8 "Do not begin to be anxious." (Phil. 4:6, P.B.V) ＮOT a few Christians live in a state of unbroken anxiety, and others fret and fume terribly. To be perfectly at peace amid the hurly-burly of daily life is a secret worth knowing. What is the use of worrying? It never made anybody strong; never helped anybody to do God's will; never made a way of escape for anyone out of perplexity. Worry spoils lives which would otherwise be useful and beautiful. Restlessness, anxiety, and care are absolutely forbidden by our lord, who said: "Take no thought," that is, no anxious thourght, "saying what shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or wherewithal shall we be clothed?" He does not mean that we are not to take forethought and that our life is to be without plan or method; but that we are not to worry about these things. People know you live in the realm of anxious care by the lines on your face, the tones of your voice, the minor key in your life, and the lack of joy in your spirit. Scale the heights of a life abandoned to God, then you will look down on the clouds beneath your feet. －Rev. Darlow Sargeant. It is always weakness to be fretting and worrying, questioning and mistrusting. Can we gain anything by it? Do we not unfit ourselves for action, and unhinge our minds for wise decision? We are sinking by our struggles when we might float by faith. Oh, for grace to be quiet! Oh, to be still and know that Jehovah is God! The Holy One of Israel must defend and deliver His own. We may be sure that every word of His will stand, though the mountains should depart. He deserves to be confided in. Come, my soul, return unto thy rest, and lean thy head upon the bosom of the Lord Jesus. －Selected.
