十一月八日 「耶穌帶著彼得、約翰、雅各，上山去禱告。正禱告的時候，他的面貌就改變了，衣服潔白放光……他們看見耶穌榮光。」路加福音九章28、29、32節（直譯） 「我如今若在你眼前蒙恩，求你將你的道指示我。」出埃及記卅三章13節 耶穌帶著這三個門徒，暗暗的上了高山，和他們在那裡有一個極親密的交通。他們不見一人。只見耶穌在那裡；啊！他們在那裡真好！ 凡與主同在山上的人，天離他們不遠了。 有多少人，在默想禱告的時候，看見天開了。有多少人，在密室裡與神交通的時候，感覺一陣洶湧的波濤突衝進來。這些都是預嘗天上的快樂。 主耶穌在世的時候，常和祂的門徒到安靜的山上去談話。今天我們呢？我們的生活多麼急促—─從早到晚過著極其紛亂的生活。在這惡勢力之下，安靜默想、讀經祈禱，與主交通的機會多麼少啊！ 但以理在巴比倫的吼怒、迷信之下，仍不忽略他的密室生活。彼得的密室是在約帕的一個房頂上；馬丁路得的密室是在韋登伯（Wittenberg）的一間上房裡。 　　　　　　　　　　─譯自已失去的默想的藝術 信徒啊，來親近主！也許主今天要帶你上山頂去；不要想只有彼得、約翰、雅各，是配去的；彼得是一個最會闖禍的人，雅各和約翰是火氣最大的人，他們曾一再誤會他們的主和主的使命；所以沒有理由可以叫主不帶你去。不要自暴自棄地說：「啊，這些奇異的經歷是只有最少數的屬靈人能得到的！」也許你今天就能得到呢！ 　　　　　　　　　　─馬克乃爾

November 8 "He took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray, and as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering...they saw his glory." (Luke 9:29,32.) "If I have found grace in thy sight, show me thy glory." (Exod. 33:13) 　ＷHEN Jesus took these three disciples up into that high mountain apart, He brought them into close communion with Himself. They saw no man but Jesus only; and it was good to be there. Heaven is not far from those who tarry on the mount with their Lord. 　Who has not in moments of meditation and prayer caught a glimpse of opening gates? Who has not in the secret place of holy communion felt the rush of some white surging wave of emotion-a foretaste of the joy of the blessed? 　The Master had times and places for quiet converse with His disciples, once on the peak of Hermon, but oftener on the sacred slopes of Olivet. Every Christian should have his Olivet. Most of us, especially in the cities and towns, live at high pressure. From early morning until bedtime we are exposed to the whirl. Amid all this maelstrom how little chance for quiet thought, for God's Word, for prayer and heart fellowship! 　Dr. Joseph Parker once said: "If we do not get back to visions, peeps into heaven, consciousness of the higher glory and the larger life, we shall lose our religion; our altar will become a bare stone, unblessed by visitant from Heaven." Here is the world's need today-men who have seen their Lord. 　　　　　　　　　　－The Lost Art of Meditation. 　Come close to Him! He may take you today up into the mountain top, for where He took Peter with his blundering, and James and John, those sons of thunder who again and again so utterly misunderstood their Master and His mission, there is no reason why He should not take you. So don't shut yourself out of it and say, "Ah, these wonderful visions and revelations of the Lord are for choice spirits!? They may be for you! 　　　　　　　　　　－John Mcneill.
■ 永活之泉（11月08日）
十一月八日　聖靈 「你們要受聖靈的洗。」「聖靈降臨在你們身上，你們就必得著能力。」使徒行傳一章5、8節 教會第三個特性——有聖靈的能力。自從亞當犯罪之後，就失去神曾吹入他裏面的靈。神的靈曾儘量和人在一起，並且以大能運行在其中，但在人裏面卻找不到永遠的居所。只有當基督降世，藉死敗壞死的權勢，又因復活有賜人的新生命在祂裏面；神的靈可在人心中掌權，並使他內住在基督和神裏面。 除此以外，沒有別的能力會使門徒和我們勝過罪惡並得以自由；聖靈是聖潔的靈，在舊約時代稱為神的靈，但如今在基督的十字架上彰顯神的聖潔，基督又使我們成聖，使我們能像祂一樣聖潔，神聖潔的靈也能內住在人裏面，並使他們成為神聖潔的殿宇。 祂是聖子的靈，在世上祂引導聖子進入曠野開始受撒但的試探，並到拿撒勒的會堂宣告祂已應驗先知的話（賽六一1；路四18），在十字架上基督順服自己。現在聖靈在我們裏面啟示基督，開始成為我們的生命，然後成為能力，使之完全順服並有能力傳道。 奇妙的奧秘！神的靈是我們的生命，基督的靈是我們的亮光和能力；當我們能像初代門徒被聖靈引導，就會有能力從事有功效的禱告，因為義人的禱告大有功效。

十一月八日　祈禱的能力無有配敵 「我們本不曉得當怎樣禱告，只是聖靈親自用說不出來的歎息，替我們禱告。」羅馬書八章26節 我們可感覺因聖靈的祈禱而有精力；我們知道如何在聖靈裡祈禱；但是我們不常感覺聖靈親自用我們說不出來的話在我們裡面祈禱。當我們從神得著重生，而有神的靈住在我們裡面，祂將我們說不出來的說出來。 在你裡面的靈，「祂照著神的旨意替聖徒祈求。」神鑒察你的心，不是要曉得你的意識得到的祈求是甚麼，卻是要找出聖靈的祈禱是甚麼。 神的靈需要信者的本性為殿，在裡面獻上祂的代求。「你們的身子就是聖靈的殿。」當耶穌潔淨聖殿的時候，祂不許人拿著器具從殿裡經過。神的靈不許你們用自己的身體成就自己的方便，耶穌忍心的將殿裡買賣的東西拋出去，而且說──「我的殿必作禱告的殿，你們倒使它成為賊窩了。」（路十九46） 我們認知我們的身體是聖靈的殿麼？如其如此，我們必得當心替祂保守清潔。我們必要記起我們覺醒的生活，雖說只是我們人格的一小部份，卻要把它看為聖靈的殿。祂必照顧我們所不知道的，未覺察的部份；但是我們必要留意守護那意識得到的部份；因為那是我們的責任。

十一月八日 「因為賜生命聖靈的律，在基督耶穌裡釋放了我……」羅馬書八章2節 罪及疾病有一種自然的律，如果我們陷在環境的情境中，我們就會敗在那惡者的權勢下。但是在基督耶穌裡，屬靈及肉體的生命中也有一個律；藉著這個律，我們能超越、抵擋、勝過令我們敗壞的律。然而要達到這個目標，需要屬靈的力量、決心，以及信心的操練。 在一個僅僅靠機械力量的工廠，要能產生動力，就必須使每一個影響主軸的皮帶、小零件，都妥貼地連接。因為惟有每個零件都銜接好，機器才能運作。 同理，在我們與主同行的生活中，也有一個屬靈的律。這律對我們作選擇、相信神、住在神裡面、堅固自己有絕對之關係。更是聖靈使我們成為聖潔，或是得醫治所不可或缺的。以下的短詩對這個律有很簡短的描述： 有一句話能使靈魂得拯救， 那就是：「我相信神。」 能使病人得醫治、受苦的得安慰， 那就是：「我相信神。」
