1:23 她丈夫以利加拿說：「就隨你的意行吧！可以等兒子斷了奶。但願耶和華應驗他的話。」於是婦人在家裏乳養兒子，直到斷了奶； <<Do what seems best to you,>> Elkanah her husband told her. <<Stay here until you have weaned him; only may the LORD make good his 1:23 Masoretic Text; Dead Sea Scrolls, Septuagint and Syriac ((your)) word.>> So the woman stayed at home and nursed her son until she had weaned him.
