耶和華又吩咐我們遵行這一切律例，要敬畏耶和華─我們的神，使我們常得好處，蒙他保全我們的生命，像今日一樣。 24 The LORD commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the LORD our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.

耶和華─你神將他們交給你擊殺，那時你要把他們滅絕淨盡，不可與他們立約，也不可憐恤他們。 2 and when the LORD your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally. 7:2 The Hebrew term refers to the irrevocable giving over of things or persons to the LORD, often by totally destroying them; also in verse 26. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy.
