摩西就鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣。清晨起來，照耶和華所吩咐的上西奈山去，手裏拿著兩塊石版。 4 So Moses chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones and went up Mount Sinai early in the morning, as the LORD had commanded him; and he carried the two stone tablets in his hands.

說：「主啊，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你在我們中間同行，因為這是硬著頸項的百姓。又求你赦免我們的罪孽和罪惡，以我們為你的產業。」 9 「O Lord, if I have found favor in your eyes,」 he said, 「then let the Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.」

耶和華說：「我要立約，要在百姓面前行奇妙的事，是在遍地萬國中所未曾行的。在你四圍的外邦人就要看見耶和華的作為，因我向你所行的是可畏懼的事。 10 Then the LORD said: 「I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the LORD, will do for you.
