所以你們要謹守遵行；這就是你們在萬民眼前的智慧、聰明。他們聽見這一切律例，必說：『這大國的人真是有智慧，有聰明！』 6 Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say, 「Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.」

「你只要謹慎，殷勤保守你的心靈，免得忘記你親眼所看見的事，又免得你一生、這事離開你的心；總要傳給你的子子孫孫。 9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

你在何烈山站在耶和華─你神面前的那日，耶和華對我說：『你為我招聚百姓，我要叫他們聽見我的話，使他們存活在世的日子，可以學習敬畏我，又可以教訓兒女這樣行。』 10 Remember the day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, when he said to me, 「Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children.」
