十一月廿六日 「迦勒問他說,你要甚麼。他說,求你賜福給我,你既將我安置在南地,求你也給我水泉。他父親就把上泉下泉賜給他。」約書亞記十五章18-19節 所賜的有上泉下泉,而且是源源不絕的泉水,並不是停滯的水池。在炎熱的夏季,在最荒涼的地方,快樂與幸福,像泉水似的源源而來。 押撒的地是「南地」─—一塊在烈日之下非常炎熱的地。他父親給了他水泉,從此山上有不竭的泉水流下來使全地涼爽、肥沃了。 我們所在環境,無論如何炎熱、荒蕪、艱難、痛苦、平庸,我們總能找到喜樂和祝福的。因為我們的父親已把活水的泉源賜給我們了。 亞伯拉罕曾在迦南的山中,摩西在米甸的岩石裏,都曾發現過這種泉水。大衛在洗革拉灰燼中,雖然他的妻子兒女都被擄去,眾人說,要用石頭打死他,「大衛卻倚靠耶和華。」(撒上卅6) 哈巴谷雖然看見無花果樹不發旺、田地不出糧……他仍能唱說:「然而我要因耶和華歡欣,因救我的神喜樂。」(哈三18) 以賽亞在西拿基立上來攻擊猶大的時候,雖然似乎山都搖動到海心了,他仍能用信心唱說:「有一道河。這河的分汊,使神的城歡喜……神在其中。城必不動搖。」(詩四六4、5) 許多殉道者在火燄中仍有喜樂;許多信徒在患難中仍有平安;這是為甚麼綠故呢?乃是因為他們能和大衛一同唱說:「我的泉源都在你裏面。」(詩八七7) 啊!我們的父親所賜給我們的水泉多麼寶貴! ─宣信 我說:這沙漠多麼廣大, 我說:這沙漠多麼荒涼, 那裏有泉水給我解渴? 何處可給我躲避風沙猖狂! 忽然聽見潛藏地下的泉聲, 面前升起蔥綠的棕櫚, 鳥兒在歌唱,整個空中, 都閃耀著天使的翅膀。 有一位在溫柔地說: 何必為明天憂慮悲悽, 你難道還不明白, 天父知道你所需的東西。 ─選
■ 英文荒漠甘泉(11月26日)
November 26 "And Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou? Who answered, give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether spring. (Joshua 15:18,19) THERE are both upper and nether spring. They are springs, not stagnant pools. There are joys and blessings that flow from above through the hottest summer and the most desert land of sorrow and trial. The lands of Achsah were "south lands." lying under a burning sun and often parched with burning heat. But from the hills came the unfailing springs, that cooled, refreshed and fertilized all the land. There are springs that flow in the low places of life, in the hard places, in the desert places, in the lone places, in the common places, and no matter what may be our situation, we can always find these upper spring. Abraham found them amid the hills of Canaan. Moss found them among the rocks of Midian. Divid found them among the ashes of Ziklag when his property was gone, his family captives and his people talked of stoning him, but "David encouraged himself in the Lord." Habakkuk found them when the fig tree was withered and the fields were brown, but as he drank from them be could sing:" Yet will I rejoice in the Lord and joy in the God of my salvation." Isaiah found them in the awful days of Sennacherib's invasion, when the mountains seemed hurled into the midst of the sea, but faith could sing: " There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God. God is in the midst of her: she shall not be moved." The martyrs found them amid the flames, and reformers amid their foes and conflicts, and we can find them all the year if we have the comforter in our hearts and have learned to say with David: "All my springs are in thee." ■ 永活之泉(11月26日)
十一月廿六日 為眾聖徒代禱 「寫信給歌羅西的聖徒,在基督裏有忠心的弟兄。……我們感謝神、我們主耶穌基督的父,常常為你們禱告,因聽見你們……向眾聖徒的愛心。」「你們要恆切禱告,在此儆醒感恩,也要為我們禱告。」歌羅西書一章1—4節,四章2、3節 為眾聖徒代禱:但願這是成為我們第一個思想,這段很簡短的話語需要我們付出時間、心思和愛心,想想你的鄰居,所知道的聖徒和整個國家,為聖徒讚美神,想到全球基督教國家,聖徒的居所,或非基督教的國家並神的聖所在其國增加。 想到所有可找到不同的環境和條件,為各種需要祈求神的恩典和幫助,想到很多,哦!太多神的聖徒,也想到無知、懶惰、世俗、有不信噁心、行走黑暗道路和不榮耀神的,更想到很多熱心但自覺生命上失敗,或沒有能力討神喜悅並幫助別人的人。同時也為他們所在之地,無論是人跡罕至的野地或人口稠密的都市,他只以事奉買他們的主並照亮四週的人為其唯一目的,特別想到願加入自覺是教會一份子的團體之人,祈求聖靈的大應許,只有因此才有相愛和合一的心。 這不僅是一天或一夜的工作,必須一次次有系統地想到所屬基督身體的狀況和需要,可是一旦我們開始,就可找到我們堅持並降服聖靈的理由,祂就能配合我們極大而蒙福的工作。一天天禱告有兩方面:一,為神的愛並基督充滿其子民的心;二,是聖靈降下在這有罪的世界成就神的工作。
■ 中文屬天日子(11月26日)
十一月廿六日 集中靈性的精力 「……只誇我們主耶穌基督的十字架。」加拉太書六章14節 如果你要知道神在你身上的精力(耶穌復活的生命),就得默想神的慘劇。不要追求自身靈性的利益,而想神的慘劇,你馬上就會得著神的精力。「仰望我,」注意客觀的來源,主觀的精力,就在那裡。我們如果不能集中在這上面,就必喪失能力。十字架的結果,是救贖成聖,醫治等等;但我們不宣傳這些,我們要宣傳耶穌基督,和釘十字架的祂。宣傳耶穌則其餘的幾種工作必能自動的成功。在你的宣傳裡,專以神為中心,雖然你的群眾不甚注意,但絕不能與未聽一樣。如果我講話,如你與我講話一樣,沒有甚麼緊要;但若是我講神的真理,你是不能忘記的,我也不能忘記。我們要把靈性的精力集中在「十字架」上,常與那個中心接觸,因為那就是能力的所在,精力放射的源頭。在聖潔運動和靈性經驗的集會裡,集中點是容易不放在基督的十字架上,卻放在十字架的結果上。 今日評論教育的微弱,評論得不錯。有種微弱的原因,是不曾集中靈性精力,沒有多默想髑髏地的慘劇,或救贖的意義。
■ 中文上海嗎哪(11月26日)
十一月廿六日 「父怎樣差遣了我,我也照樣差遣你們。」約翰福音廿章21節 大使命可說是向外邦世界傳福音中,最重要的一項事工。主耶穌說:「……你們往普天下去,傳福音給萬民聽。」(可十六15)這個命令是對每個基督徒說的,主要我們能一對一地傳福音給萬民聽。祂並告訴我們應該從耶路撒冷開始,向祂的選民先傳福音。 因為祂要我們使萬國的人作祂的門徒,所以我們的事工是高尚的,我們更是萬王之王的大使,以及每一個種族、語言的人的福音託管人。使徒行傳一章8節說:「……並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地,和撒瑪利亞,直到地極,作我的見證。」這個命令使我們能排除一切人種的偏見,自私的愛國主義,以及任何其他宗派的信徒,更使得傳福音成為基督教會最大的事工,每一位主的門徒最重要的責任。 我們是否已經擁有基督離世前傳道的精神?如果是,我們不能光是坐著不動,或是冷漠不關心,或是甚至在傳福音的行動中保持中立。畢竟,傳福音不僅僅是當務之急,更是神所呼召我們的最重要一件事。
